Insatiable
INSATIABLE explores this tension between physical presence and digital construction through a visual language built on repetition, distortion and desire. Words move across the skin like coded markings, transforming the body into both message and medium.
The story follows a character moving between confinement and liberation. Extreme close ups and layered double exposures initially create a sense of restriction, reflecting the pressure of existing inside imposed identities and social expectations. One version of the self appears trapped, while another slowly begins to emerge beyond it.
As the narrative unfolds, the projections shift from something oppressive into something empowering. The word “INSATIABLE” covers the body repeatedly, no longer functioning as judgement, but as reclamation.
Latex, often historically associated with fetishisation or restriction, is recontextualised here as something powerful, elegant and liberating. Rather than limiting the body, the garments become a form of armour, allowing the subject to fully occupy space with confidence and control.
Sharp lighting, synthetic textures and fragmented beauty references create a world suspended somewhere between fashion editorial, digital identity and performance art.
